Youth Job Link - Now Available in Durham Region

Youth Job Link is designed to help youth, including students, aged 15 to 29, who do not face significant barriers to employment, but who could benefit from some extra help to plan their careers and transition to the labour market.

If you need help finding employment, including full-time, summer and part-time employment, the Youth Job Link program is is available year-round.

Youth Job Link provides three categories of non-intensive employment services:

  • Career exploration services to increase knowledge of career options and support career decision-making;
  • Career management services to improve readiness for the labour market; and,
  • Job search, readiness and matching assistance to connect youth with employers offering employment opportunities, including summer jobs.

The Youth Job Connection is a government of Ontario program designed to help young people between the ages of 15-29 who face multiple or serious barriers to employment. CHS is a not-for-profit agency and the leading provider of services, products, and information that remove barriers to communication, advance hearing health, and promote equity for people who are culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened and hard of hearing.  The individuals accessing the CHS Employment Services (ES) program often face huge communication, attitudinal and cultural barriers and therefore benefit from specialized supports and advocacy with employers, training institutions and other agencies to ensure culturally appropriate and accessible services.
